Carl’s Records: These posters were made in honor of my uncle Carl and his great love for music. A fake record store, and an ad for the store. The records shown are the kind of music my mom grew up hearing from his room, and that love for music was passed down to me. Music holds memories and connects us to the people we love. Carl’s Records is a fictional record store created to represent how music can be shared across generations.

Since my uncle was also an artist, I created my Uncle’s Legacy Page to share his work with the world and honor the inspiration he’s given me.

Autistic Masking: This piece was created to show what it’s like for autistic people who hide parts of themselves to fit in with the world around them. Masking can look like making eye contact, copying how others act, or staying quiet to avoid standing out. On the outside, a person may seem fine, but inside they might feel tired, stressed, or overwhelmed. This artwork reveals the true self behind the mask full of color, that others don’t always see.
